Registration
Fees
OVERDUE BALANCES: Any balances that are
overdue must be paid prior to or as part
of the fall registration period.
PAST
SEASON BALANCE DUE: Total past season balance due must be paid
prior to or as part of the fall
registration.
USA
SWIMMING/INDIANA SWIMMING REGISTRATION: When you register
with BA, you pay an additional fee for
registration/membership in the USA Swimming organization. This also includes the
required Indiana Swimming fee. This is an
annual
fee which provides insurance for all properly sanctioned events
and supervised practices. BA does not receive
any of this fee. It is passed straight to USA Swimming/Indiana Swimming. The
membership is valid for one calendar year (September through the next December).
Summer seasonal memberships are available for High School Athletes.
TEAM FEES: The team fees cover the salaries of the
coaches as well as the pool facility rental and many other items.
Because we must commit to our coaches for the entire season, it is expected that
swimmers also commit to an entire season of fees,
whether or not they are able to swim
during all weeks or months of the season. To assist in family budgeting, we do allow
the team fees to be paid in quarterly installments. Payment is expected
each quarter unless a release from payment has
been granted from the Board.
Monthly payment options can also be considered by the Board, on a
case by case basis. BA cannot release a swimmer from payment
of USA Swimming fees or meet entry fees
since these are fees that the team must pay to other organizations. Release of payment
of season team fees will be considered only
upon written request of the Board and are intended only for
extraordinary reasons beyond the control of the
swimmer and parents (relocation, lengthy illness,
or injury that prevents participation for
an extended period of time) except for during the 2 week trial period for new
swimmers.
OPT OUT FEES: This is an optional fee. Due to
unusual circumstances, some parents may be unable to donate time to
the team to work meet sessions. In lieu of working the meet sessions, the parents
may choose to pay a fee which is payable at the beginning of a season. The opt out
fee only covers one season.

Fees
MEET ENTRY FEES: When swimmers are signed up for a meet
with entry fees, BA must send a payment for each
swimmer’s events to reserve their place at that
meet. This payment is usually made two to
six weeks before the meet and the team must pay these fees for the whole team. Your
bills throughout the season will reflect the fees the club has paid for your
swimmer(s). For this reason, you are still obliged
to pay the entry fees even if your
child is ill or does not participate for any reason.
LATE PAYMENT FEES:
If any amount billed, including
any past due amounts, is not received within 30
days, a late fee of 1.5% of the total mount due will be
assessed.
