Important Information Regarding SC

 
Greetings Swim Fans,

Keep these dates:

August 30 and 31st - call-out and try-outs for SC season at Westside HS from 6-8 PM

September 1st - first day of practice for Short Course Season

Change in Registration Process:

Indiana Swimming, in accordance with USA swimming, will require every swimmer to submit a photocopy of their birth certificate when registering. This will only be required once. When IN swimming has processed the information, all copies will be shredded. Again, this will only be asked for one time. Once your swimmer's legal name and birthdate have been verified, you will not need to submit it again.

If you do not have a birth certificate for your child, here are your options: (per IN swimming).

"If a birth certificate in unavailable, a copy of a passport, driver’s license, alien registration card issued by the United States government, a certificate issued by the Immigration and Naturalization Service attesting to age, a certificate of an American citizen born abroad issued by the appropriate government agency or document on school letter head will be accepted. Hospital, baptismal or religious certificates will not be accepted."
